Some 10,000 tickets sold for today’s match under ICC World Cricket Championship

Kathmandu, April 16: Some 10,000 tickets have been sold for the match between Nepal and Namibia under the ICC World Cricket League Championship. The match is taking place today.

The tickets were sold to general public for the match taking place at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground. The Cricket Ground has the capacity to accommodate 12,000 audiences.

Marketing Manager at the E-Service Phone-Pay Pvt. Ltd, Raju Aryal, said that the sale of the tickets to general people has been stopped from Friday as arrangement of pass should be made to some VIP guests and others.

The E-Service had started selling tickets from April 6. Arrangement of price of per ticket to general people has been made Rs 100 while Rs 50 to TU students.

Meanwhile, Nepal and Hong Kong on Friday signed MoU for the development of sports science and its expansion.

Member –Secretary of the National Sports Council, Keshav Kumar Bista, and Executive Director of the Sports Science Academy of Nepal, Dr Prakash Pradhan and Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Sports Institute, Dr Trosha Leahy, signed the MoU.
