Kathmandu, March 31: Nepal has registered its third straight win in the first South Asian Women’s Basketball tournament underway in the capital.
In the match held at the covered hall in Tripureswar today, Nepal defeated Bhutan 90-32, riding on 21 points by Bhawana Lama.
Earlier, Nepal had defeated Bangladesh and the Maldives. In the other match played today, Maldives defeated Bangladesh 62-28.
On Friday, Sri Lanka plays Bangladesh while Maldives will face Bhutan.
