Aabriti Shrestha received scholarship from Nepali Ghar and she was mentioned as one of two candidates among applicants at the event. She received $1k.

Extra-curricular activities:

–          Served in student council throughout high school

–          Member of National Honors Society

–          Student Body Secretary in student council during sophomore and junior years

–          Played Basketball, Softball and Track and Field during high school

–          Speak as a STEM representative to inspire younger generation regarding STEM

–          Provided testimony at the Colorado Capitol on HB16-1289 Bill, the Incentives to Complete Career Development Courses Bill

–          President Joseph A. Sewall Esteemed Scholar Award at CU Boulder – this is the highest category among esteemed scholars award at CU Boulder

–          Dean’s Scholar with acceptance to the University as the topped ranked student of admitted class

–          Semi Finalist for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s “Girls’ Leadership Council”

–          AP Scholar

–          Academic All State First Steam at Colorado High School Activities Association

–          Academic Honors award throughout high school.

Volunteering

–          Managed High School’s baseball team

–          Volunteered at Longmont United Hospital

–          Did community fundraiser to help a team member in the baseball team during his terrible car accident

–          Assisted in raising $7K for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help Brittany, a leukemia patient to get her wish come true.

–          During Colorado flood disaster of 2013, helped clean up basements and neighborhoods in the disaster hit areas
